Ahikāroa

(2024)scripted TV20 × ½ hour

A long-running, flashy, sexy Māori-English bilingual series centred on the chaotic lives of Hemi, Geo and Te Pā, their flat in 'big city' Tāmaki Makaurau.

The story glides between corporate law firms, spiritual awakenings of intuitive Māori experts, jealous lovers, intense family trauma and even murder. A highly ambitious and successful visual feast.

Jack edited and provided drone shots for season six and seven.

Winner of Best Narrative Series, Best Editing, Best Ensemble and Best Acting at NZ Web Fest 2024. Jack's trailer for season five won Best Trailer at NZ Web Fest 2023.
